Тwo training sessions titled as “Strategic planning and situational analyses” and “Methods of action planning” will hold within the project “Civil participation for local democracy”. The training sessions will take place on 15th and 16th June at the GEM Club.
The aim of these training sessions is to build the capacities of the civil organizations and the units of the local self-government for strategic management and participative planning. In addition, these training sessions are part of the three-training-sessions set in the three partner municipalities (total 9), which will be continuously attended by 20 representatives from the civil organizations and the municipalities.
The project “Civil participation for local democracy” is supported by the European Union and is implemented by the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia in partnership with the Center for Local Democracy Development (CLDD) in the municipalities of Strumica, Struga and Centar. The aim of this Center is to assist the strengthening of the civil society’s influence in the public cultural policies development and the decision making on local level, as well as to create an environment that is encouraging the activities of the civil organizations for implementation of local cultural policies. The project began in January 2016 and will end in June 2017.
